bTroo - Privacy Policy

Welcome to bTroo, the relationship app that puts the conversation at the forefront and takes looks out of the spotlight. We’re so happy you’re here and we want you to have the best experience possible. But before you start we need to tell you a few things about how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information. Don’t worry, it’s not too complicated and we’ll try to make it as fun as possible. So please read this privacy policy carefully and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. By using the bTroo app or website (“the app”, “the service”), you agree to this privacy policy and let us process your personal information as explained here. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Who We Are?

The App and Site are run by the Trruer Dynamics (also called “we” or “us” in this policy) which is in charge of personal information that is collected and used through the App and Site.

Where This Privacy Policy Applies

This Privacy Policy is for websites, apps, events and other cool stuff we do under the name bTroo. We just call all of these our “services” in this Privacy Policy. Some services may need their own awesome privacy policy. If a service has its own privacy policy, then that policy is the boss – not this Privacy Policy.

What information do we collect?

We want you to find your perfect match on bTroo, but we can’t do that without knowing a bit about you, such as who you are, what you like, and who you’re looking for. We also need some information about how you use our app, such as access logs, which features you enjoy and which people you chat with. Don’t worry, we only use this information to make your experience on bTroo better and safer. If you want to know more, keep reading below.

Information you give us

You choose to share some information with us when you use our app. This includes:

Information we receive from others

Besides the information we receive from you, we get some information about you from others, including other users. Users may provide information about you as they use our app, for example as they interact with you or if they report an issue involving you.

Information generated or automatically collected

Data about which features you’ve used, how you’ve used them and the devices you use to access our app is created whenever you use our services. If you want to know more, keep reading below.

Using the services creates data about your activity on our app or website such as when you log in, which features you use, what actions you take, what information you see and where you came from. We also keep track of your interactions with other users, such as who you connect and chat with, and when you match and exchange messages with them.

We want to make sure our app works well on your device, so we collect some information from and about it. This includes things like your IP address, device ID and type, apps settings and characteristics, app crashes, , and identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser.

We want you to have the best experience possible on our app, and that’s why we use and may allow others to use cookies and similar technologies (like web beacons, pixels and SDKs). They help us and others know who you are and what you like when you use our app. Sounds cool, right? If you want to learn more about how we use these technologies and how you can control them, check out our Cookie Policy. By the way, some web browsers (like Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome) have a feature called “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) that lets you tell a website that you don’t want to be tracked online. But not all browsers have this feature and DNT signals are not the same everywhere. That’s why many businesses, including bTroo, don’t respond to DNT signals right now. We hope you understand and respect our decision.

Other information with your consent

If you agree, we can collect your precise geolocation (latitude and longitude) from your device. This enables us to show you users who are near you and match your criteria. We may collect your geolocation in the background even when you are not using the app if you authorize us to do so. If you decline to provide us with your precise geolocation, we will not collect it, and some of our app functionality that relies on precise geolocation may not be available to you

We process your information to manage your account and provide our services to you and to help you find your match because we need to do that to give you the service that you signed up for. Follow applicable laws and regulations

We process your information when we have to do that by law or regulation or show that we do that by law or regulation. Sometimes, we might need your permission to collect specific information such as where you are exactly or use your information for certain reasons. We keep some information based on our legitimate interest. For example, we keep customer care records and supporting data as well as a rough location of where you downloaded or bought our service to help us with customer care decisions, protect our rights and enable us to defend ourselves in the event of a claim, profile data in anticipation of potential litigation, for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, and data necessary to prevent users who were banned or people who were found to be under the age of 18 from opening a new account, for as long as necessary to ensure the safety and vital interests of our users.

Sometimes, we may have to keep some information based on our legitimate interest if there is an issue, claim or dispute that is not resolved or could come up again.
